Shortcuts to Updating Applicant Stages

The CV listings page is possibly your recruitment team’s most frequented page across the entire ATS portal. It gives a snapshot view of your talent pipeline, enlists your candidates’ credentials and shows the annotations your team has made to enrich profiles in that wide applicant pool. Given its centrality to the whole recruitment process, we are constantly working on enhancements that optimize the CV Listings page for smoother candidate shortlisting and applicant tracking.

This time around, we’ve introduced a shortcut that lets you update a candidate’s applicant stage status directly from the CV View page. No need to jump through hoops to progress or regress a candidate from one stage to another because a button at the top of every profile lets you do that in a jiffy.

Here’s how:

1. Go to the Applicants page of any job, and check out our new shortcut that helps you update a candidate’s stage much quicker! By default we set the main action to the next stage in the workflow funnel:

2. By selecting the drop-down menu next to the main action, you can choose to move the candidate to any other stage in the workflow funnel. These stages are displayed in the same order as they are defined in the workflow:

3. Next to each stage, you can choose from, you will see an icon depicting the flow’s movement:

a backward arrow depicts that moving to this stage will regress the candidate’s application in the job workflow.
a dot depicts the stage the candidate is currently in.
a forward arrow depicts that moving to this stage will progress the candidate’s application in the job workflow.

4. You can also quickly reject a candidate or move a candidate to another reject stage by clicking on the Reject action or one of it’s sub-actions:

Hope this streamlines your applicant tracking experience even further!
